How to add your club to the Cannasys Maps directory
A guide for associations: checking whether your club is already listed, filling in the registration form, what happens during the review and what to complete first in the club panel.
September 30, 2026
If you want to list your cannabis club in a directory such as Cannasys Maps, the process is short, but it is worth doing carefully: what you write at registration is the first impression people looking for a club will get of your association. There are three stages: checking whether your club already appears, filling in the form and waiting for the review. After that the panel opens, and that is where the work people actually notice begins.
This guide is meant for whoever on the board or the team looks after the association's online presence. No technical knowledge is needed. You do need the club's basic details to hand and a clear idea of which email you will use to log in.
Before you start: check whether your club is already listed
Plenty of associations find they already have a listing they never created. The directory brings clubs together from public information, so yours may be there with whatever details were known. That is why the first step in «Add your club» is not a form but a search: you type the club name and the city and see whether anything matches.
If your club is on the list, do not register it again. Tap «This is my club» and follow the route for claiming the listing: you confirm the details, state your role and send your identification for review. A duplicate listing only confuses people searching, and the system prevents it anyway: if a club with the same name already exists in the same city, registration will ask you to find it and claim it.
If the result says «Already has a representative», someone has linked that listing before you. It is usually another person from your own association. Talk to the board first; if nobody recognises the account, write to support from the contact page and include the link to the listing.
One account, one club
Each Cannasys Maps account can register or manage a single club. If several people in your association will work on the listing, they do not each need to register anything: later on the owner can invite them to the panel.
The form to list your club in the directory, step by step
Once you confirm your club is not on the list, the registration form appears. It takes a few minutes if you have the details ready.
Open «Add your club» and search for your association
Type the club name and start typing the city until you can pick it from the list.
Tap «My club is not on the list»
Only once you have checked that none of the results is your association.
Fill in the required details
Name, city, categories, club phone, your name, the log-in email and the data consent.
Check your wording before sending
Some fields are published exactly as written, so read them the way a future member would.
Wait for the access link
It arrives at the email you gave once the review is finished.
Not every field carries the same weight. This table sums up what is required, what is optional and where each detail ends up:
| Field | Required? | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Club name | Yes | Listing title and search results |
| City | Yes | City pages and the directory's «City» filter |
| Categories (one to six) | Yes | Club types: social club, lounge, terrace, events, CBD friendly or coworking |
| Club phone | Yes | Contact details on the listing |
| Contact email and address | No | Shown on the listing if you fill them in |
| Tax ID, website and description | No | The description goes on the listing; the tax ID helps identify the association |
| Your name and log-in email | Yes | Not published: they are used to give you panel access |
Two details save trouble later. The log-in email should be one the association will control for the long term, not the personal address of someone who might leave the board next year. And the categories should describe what the space really is: ticking all six to show up in more searches only brings in requests from people looking for something else.
What to write, and what not to, when you register
The description is optional, but it is the text the directory reads and the one that helps people compare. Say what the space is like, what the atmosphere is, which activities you run and how joining works. Concrete phrases such as «a large room for conversation and board games in the afternoon» say more than any adjective.
There are limits the system applies when you save. Descriptions must not mention sales, product prices, offers, health claims, references to minors or invitations to consume outside the premises. This is not a whim of the directory: an association is not a shop, and text that makes it look like one harms its own image. If you want to see how people searching read a listing, our guide on how to choose a cannabis club explains what they compare and which signals they value.
What happens after you submit the registration
When you send the form you will see the «Request sent» confirmation. From then on, a moderator checks the club's details.
If you sent the form while logged in, you can follow the status in your account, under «Club registration». The form can also be sent without an account, but then the request is not tied to one: it will appear in that section once you log in, or create and confirm an account, with the same email you gave for access. The easiest route is to log in with that email before sending.
While logged in, if you try to register another club with the same account, the system will remind you that you already have a pending request.
When the review goes through, you receive an access link at the email you gave. With it you create a password and enter the club panel. If the email does not arrive, look in your spam folder before writing to support, and check that you typed the address correctly in the form.
Being in the directory changes nothing about how your association works. Anyone who finds you in the directory will contact you directly, and the decision on each admission remains yours, under your statutes. Cannasys Maps takes no part in that conversation and charges no commission for it.
First steps in the club panel
Opening the panel for the first time can feel like a lot: profile, requests, amenities, documents, reviews, team and more. There is no need to finish everything on day one. This order works well:
- Profile and opening hours. Review the description and publish at least one day with opening and closing times. Without hours, your club will not show up under the «Open now» filter.
- Amenities and fee. Choose amenities from the shared list (terrace, WiFi, events, café…) and, if you wish, state the indicative annual fee. Changes appear on the listing straight away.
- Documents. Upload the statutes and the entry in the Register of associations to qualify for the «Documents verified» badge. The municipal licence is optional.
- Team. The owner can invite other people, as managers or as owners. The invitation link is valid for 72 hours.
- Logo and photos. You upload them yourself: the logo when editing the club profile, and photos in the «Fotos del club» card on the panel overview on a computer. JPG and PNG are accepted.
The panel also has a block called «How your club looks in the directory», which tells you which listing signals are still missing. There is no score and no shortcut: the directory order cannot be bought and the PRO subscription has no effect on it. What is in your hands is a complete listing, up-to-date contact details and replying to the people who write to you.
If you later want to explain which documents underpin the association, it helps to be clear about who signs and who decides within the club. We go through that in how an association is organised internally.
Is your association not in the directory yet?
Search for its name and city first; if it is not there, registering takes a few minutes.
If you have a specific question about fields, roles or documents, the help centre has a whole section for clubs. Registering the association is a matter of minutes; making the listing reflect who you really are is longer-term work, and it deserves the same calm you ask of your future members when they choose.
