Terms of use
Version 5. Last updated: 28 September 2026.
This English text is a translation provided for information only. The Spanish version of this document is the original and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
1. Who provides the Service
1.1. In compliance with Article 10 of Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), we inform you that the owner of Cannasys Maps is QUASAR SMART TECHNOLOGIES SL · NIF B05407887 · Calle Maestro Clave 1-1, 46001 Valencia. Contact address: [email protected].
1.2. These Terms of use (hereinafter, “the Terms”) govern the relationship between the owner of the Service, available at maps.cannasys.co (hereinafter, “the Service” or “we”), and the people who use it. You will find more ways to contact us on the “Contact” page.
1.3. By using the Service you confirm that you have read these Terms and that you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using it.
2. What Cannasys Maps is (and what it is not)
2.1. Cannasys Maps is an informational directory of private cannabis associations in Spain. It lets you discover clubs, compare their profiles, save them to favourites, send them membership requests, sign up for their events, receive notices from the clubs you are a member of and invitations from the clubs you save to favourites (unless you turn their notifications off), and publish reviews; it lets clubs manage their listing, publish events, send notices to their members and invitations, and receive requests.
2.2. To be clear from the start: we do not sell or supply cannabis or any other product, we do not promote its consumption and we do not guarantee access to any product. We are not a club and we do not act as a party, representative, intermediary or guarantor of the relationship between you and an association. Membership of each club is decided solely by the club itself, in accordance with its statutes and the applicable legislation; the clubs listed are private non-profit associations reserved for their members.
2.3. The directory information comes from publicly available sources and from the clubs themselves. We do what is reasonable to keep it up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is accurate or complete at all times.
2.4. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy and in the Cookie policy.
3. For people aged 18 and over only
3.1. The Service is intended exclusively for people aged 18 and over. By using it you declare that you are of age.
3.2. When you send a membership request — including the one that accompanies signing up for an event of a club you are not a member of and a reply to a club's invitation — we will ask for your date of birth; we use it only to check that you are at least 18 (or the club's minimum age, if higher), as explained in the Privacy policy. We may suspend or delete accounts belonging to minors.
4. Registration and account
4.1. Some features require registration: the personal area, sending membership requests and their history, favourites, event sign-ups, notices from your clubs, invitations and reviews. Requests and reviews can only be sent from an account. You can create the account with an email address and a password or sign in with Google. By registering you undertake to provide truthful data and to keep it up to date.
4.2. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done in the Service from your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change the password immediately and let us know.
4.3. You can delete your account at any time from your personal area. The consequences for requests and reviews already published are described in the Privacy policy.
4.4. We may suspend or cancel access to an account if these Terms or the applicable legislation are breached. Unless the seriousness of the case or a legal obligation prevents it, we will notify you beforehand and explain the reason.
5. Membership requests
5.1. Through the Service you can send a membership request to the club you choose. We only forward your request: the decision whether to admit you rests exclusively with the club, in accordance with its statutes and internal procedures.
5.2. The membership conditions, the member fee and the internal running of each association are set by the club itself. Any subsequent relationship between you and the club (joining as a member, fees, internal rules) is outside Cannasys Maps.
5.3. Sending requests through the Service is free for users and is only possible from a registered account. Not every club receives them this way: the “Request membership” form appears on a listing only when the club has an active panel and the PRO or PRO+ plan in force (section 8.3); when it is not there, the club's phone, website and email address remain published on the listing so that you can contact it directly. Nor do we guarantee that a club will reply to your request or admit you.
6. User content and reviews
6.1. By publishing a review you confirm that it is based on your real experience with that club. You remain the owner of what you write and also the sole person responsible for it.
6.2. It is prohibited to publish:
- false or misleading information, defamation or content that damages the honour or reputation of third parties;
- insults, threats or incitement to hatred;
- advertising, spam or links to resources unrelated to the subject of the review;
- personal data of third parties without their consent;
- content that promotes the sale or supply of cannabis, mentions product prices or incites consumption;
- any content contrary to Spanish legislation.
6.3. We may moderate user content and hide or delete reviews or other materials that breach these Terms. Hidden reviews do not count towards the club's rating. Everything clubs publish — texts and photos of their listing, events, notices to members and invitations — goes through an automated review with artificial intelligence before it is published; if that review is not available, it stays “Under review” and is not published until the review is repeated or a member of our team resolves it, who can also approve or reject any content manually (details in section 2.16 of the Privacy policy). Clubs' notices and invitations can be reported with “Report”, and, in the app, request chats can be reported and blocked (“Report and block”); if you report an invitation, that club can no longer send you any. If we remove something of yours, you can write to us and we will review the decision.
6.4. By publishing content you grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to use it within the operation of the Service (to store it, display it and make it available to the public in the directory). The licence ends when the content is removed, except in backups, which are overwritten over time.
6.5. Reporting unlawful content: if you find content on the Service that you consider illegal or contrary to these Terms, write to us at [email protected] stating the page, the specific content and the reason. We will act diligently as soon as we have actual knowledge of such a situation, in accordance with Article 16 LSSI-CE.
7. Conditions for clubs (B2B)
7.1. Whoever manages a club's listing must provide truthful information about the association, submit authentic documents for verification and hold sufficient authority to act on its behalf. This also applies to the process of claiming your club (linking an existing listing to your account).
7.2. The “Documents verified” badge is granted after reviewing two documents of the association: its statutes and its entry in the relevant register of associations. The badge reflects the result of that review on the date it was carried out; it is not an official accreditation or a guarantee about the club's activity.
7.3. We may withdraw the “Documents verified” badge, suspend or unpublish a club if we detect false information, expired documents or a breach of these Terms.
7.4. Each club is solely responsible for ensuring that its activity complies with the applicable legislation. Its profile within the Service may not publish menus, product prices, sale offers or promises of access to cannabis: the directory is informational and must remain so. The same applies to events, notices and invitations. New or modified content is not published until it passes the review described in section 6.3; in the meantime, and also if it is rejected, the previous version stays published.
7.5. The club that manages a listing is responsible for the personal data it receives through the Service (for example, from membership requests, sign-ups for its events and replies to its invitations) and must process it in accordance with the GDPR and the LOPDGDD.
7.6. Notices to members and invitations are for informing about the association and its activity, not for advertising. Notices only reach members who have the club's card linked in Cannasys Maps and require an active Cannasys App integration, on any Cannasys Maps plan: they are part of Cannasys App, not of the plans in section 8; their number is limited (by default, 2 per week). Invitations are a feature of the PRO+ plan and can only be sent to people who have saved the club in their favourites and have “Club notifications” on (they are on by default and each person can turn them off), one per person, with a weekly limit (by default, 20) and a 30-day reply period; the club does not know that person's identity unless they reply. We may hide a notice or invitation that breaches these Terms and disable these features for a club that abuses them.
8. Club packages and Maps subscription
8.1. Maps (€59/month) includes the club listing and profile, services, verification documents, membership requests with chat and alerts, replies to reviews, events with sign-ups and reminders, statistics, team and invitations. Start (€59/month) is CannasysApp CRM. Club (€99/month) combines Maps and CRM. Premium (€169/month) adds support, individual development and a tablet; those extras are not included in Club. Start, Club and Premium are connection requests: the form does not automatically activate CRM or start payments. Member cards, pre-registration and member notices require an active CRM connection. Existing CRM contracts continue under their agreed terms. The plan and CRM connection provide no ranking bonus. The “Cannasys Verified” badge indicates that the club manages its membership in Cannasys App, a paid Cannasys service. The badge has no effect on catalogue order.
8.2. How this works today: the plans are free. Under the launch promotion, every club has Maps at no cost until 31 December 2026 inclusive. For as long as the promotion lasts we charge nothing: the Service has no payment page, asks for and stores no payment or card details, makes no charge and no automatic renewal, and issues no invoices; the “For clubs” page states the amounts the plans will have once paid mode is switched on (section 8.4). If a club's plan does not appear active during the promotion, its panel says so and writing to us is enough for us to look into it. The Privacy policy describes it in the same terms.
8.3. What happens when the free period ends. No charge will start by itself: no payment is possible unless the club expressly takes out a paid plan; the only exception is an automatic renewal that the club itself enabled earlier when subscribing (section 8.4), and which it can disable at any time from the panel. If it does not take out a plan, the club moves to the Free plan: its listing stays published in the directory with its phone, website and email address, with the reviews and rating already accumulated and with the “Documents verified” badge, which does not depend on the subscription. What it loses is what is specific to Maps: the “Request membership” form disappears from its listing and from the directory and the Service stops accepting new requests; the “Requests” section of the panel closes — the requests already received are not deleted and reappear if the subscription is reactivated; notices of new requests stop arriving; it can no longer reply to reviews, publish new events, see statistics or invite its team; its events already published stay visible but without sign-ups, and it can no longer send invitations (notices to members depend only on the Cannasys App integration); only those who had already sent it a request can leave it reviews. Search text relevance and the selected city or searcher's city context apply first. Within that context, clubs with free approved document verification (APPROVED) precede the others. Within each verification group, an additive score totals up to 100 points: internal reviews adjusted for their number (25), handling membership request responses (20), a complete profile with description, photos, opening hours, logo, contact and membership information (20), complete manual translations in ES, EN, DE, FR and IT (15), published events with meaningful content, recent activity and translations (15), and continuous proximity when location is available (5). Translations are supplied manually without AI; copying the source text does not count. Upcoming events and recent regularity are assessed within 90-day windows and their contribution is capped: bulk publishing cannot raise the maximum. There is no bonus for a club's name, owner, subscription or CRM connection, and no guarantee of first positions or SEO results. The “Cannasys Verified” badge indicates that the club manages its membership in Cannasys App, a paid Cannasys service. The badge has no effect on catalogue order. Plan expiry adds or removes no paid ranking bonus; the same criteria still apply. Check your plan date in “Subscription”. A report alone does not change ranking. Only an administrator's decision confirming manipulation or poor operation and attributing responsibility to the club can reduce the score: 5 points for a minor case or 15 for a serious case, capped at 30 in total for 90 days from the decision. Revocation immediately removes the reduction. A fraudulent user review does not penalize the victim club; normally rejecting a request counts as a response.
8.4. Maps payments use Stripe for periods of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Any annual discount and the total amount are shown before payment. Automatic renewal requires the club’s explicit agreement and can be disabled at any time in the Subscription section. Disabling it preserves access until the end of the paid period. Existing agreed renewal amounts and paid periods are preserved; choosing a new payment updates the renewal amount only when the club explicitly selects automatic renewal. New clubs receive a Maps trial once for three calendar months from the first representative’s panel access. Already granted free periods, including any longer launch promotion, are preserved.
8.5. Refunds and withdrawal. While the plans are free there are no amounts paid to refund. Once paid mode is active, the following will apply: the period taken out (and the move to PRO+) is deemed to be provided from the moment it is activated and the unused part is not refunded; if we refund a payment, the plan and the end date go back to how they were before that payment, except in the cases provided for by the applicable legislation; since the plans are taken out by associations in the course of their activity, the right of withdrawal provided for consumers does not apply to them, and if it were ever contracted as a consumer, there will be 14 calendar days to withdraw, that right lapsing once the service has been fully provided at the express request of whoever contracted it.
8.6. Price and changes. The promotion is not charged retroactively: no amount will become payable for the free period already enjoyed. Once paid mode is active we may change the price of the plans; the change will not affect periods already paid for, and the amount of an automatic renewal already enabled will be fixed at the moment the club accepted it, for as long as it remains enabled. The new price will apply to subscriptions taken out after the change.
9. Intellectual property
9.1. The rights over the Service — code, design, trade marks, logos, databases and content created by us — belong to the owner of the Service or to its licensors.
9.2. It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, transform or distribute the materials of the Service, or to extract data automatically (scraping), without our prior written consent, except in the cases expressly permitted by law.
10. Availability and liability
10.1. The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, and we are not liable for temporary unavailability, including technical unavailability or unavailability arising from maintenance work.
10.2. We are not liable for:
- the activity of the clubs listed in the directory or the relationship between a club and its members or applicants;
- the accuracy of the information published by clubs and users, except for what we expressly review in the verification process;
- damage arising from your relationship with a club you found through the Service;
- the AI assistant's replies: they are indicative and informational, may contain errors and do not constitute legal, medical or any other kind of advice.
10.3. The total liability of Cannasys Maps towards a club for claims relating to paid services is limited to the amount paid by the club for the relevant subscription period.
10.4. None of the above excludes or limits our liability in the cases where the law does not allow it — wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury — or the rights that consumer legislation grants to those acting as consumers.
11. Changes to the Terms
11.1. We may amend these Terms. The new version is published on this page with its effective date and, if the change is substantial, we will notify you through the Service's channels.
11.2. If you continue using the Service after the changes take effect, we understand that you accept them. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and, if you wish, delete your account.
12. Applicable law, claims and contact
12.1. These Terms are governed by Spanish law and, in particular, by Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and by Spanish consumer protection legislation where applicable.
12.2. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably: write to us first at [email protected] and we will reply within a reasonable time. If we do not reach an agreement, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under Spanish law; if you act as a consumer, this does not limit your right to go to the courts of your domicile or to the consumer dispute resolution systems available to you.
12.3. Claims and official communications are sent to [email protected]. Questions about how the Service works are handled by support — you will find its address and other channels on the “Contact” page.
